Knee Problems

When ever i go out side in the cold i dont know why but my knee gets all messed up to the point where it hurts very bad to even walk on it. I am going to the doctor when ever i can. but any idea on what my knee problem could be? Its only in the cap area

There is something injured/pulled in there. I have had 3 knee surgeries and when the weather changes I have to wrap it just to walk around because of the pain. Weather changes, especially colder weather makes joints hurt that have something going on in there.

I hope its nothing to serious my step dad has it from arthritis but i dont know what mine is from

Arthritis? Cartilage deteriorization? I have no cartilage under my knee with arthritis and it happens every time my knee gets cold. Try some moist heat ( wet wash cloth jn a bag in the microwave then on knee) and some ibuprofen. It'll help some.

It could be the beginning of arthritis.

I'm in constant pain but I have a condition that's causing softening of my kneecap. In my case there's nothing that can be done for it or the pain.
