Quoting ~Julie Blue Eyes~:" <blockquote><b>Quoting khigh:</b>" I personally believe that Jesus was alive, but ... [snip!] ... I have read about Issa...a tiny bit. I am recalling the association to Jesus, though....or maybe that was esus? Shoot."
There was a manuscript found in the Himylayas that talks about a man of Arab descent that told the swamis to preach to people love and joy every day and not just on holy days. It also talks about a man named Issa that told them to stop sacrificing humans and animals to their gods.
It's really fascinating because, well, there are 18 years of his life missing from the Bible and the Silk Road was well travelled by the time of his supposed birth. It's believed that the Magis who came to see him at his birth had travelled the Silk Road from Tibet. It's also well documented that Thomas died in India after living there for 20 years. It would have had to have been after the death of Jesus.
