Baby powder is something we don't have, thanks. I actually only thought of butt paste when a woman in Target mentioned needing it. We were really lucky with DS and only needed to use it two or three times, but it's not something I'd want to be caught without.
Diaper bag we have. Probably should have listed that.

Gripe water was a huge life saver for us but I was thinking that was something we should wait for like the Mylicon. I just wasn't sure if they had an expiration date or anything on them so didn't want to get them too early.

true, we get our use out of ours, DS has been getting horrible gas lately...... what is Mylicon? Ive never heard of it.

Gas drops. They and gripe water have the same goal but, if I remember correctly, work differently. One pushes the gas out as a burp and the other breaks it up so they can fart easier (if I remember right). Mylicon never worked with DS, it made him worse, but I don't want to rule it out because of that for this one.

i use gripe water and the gas drops, i use the gripe water first and that calms him and hes able to sleep, and if he wakes up and still has the bad gas i give him the gas drops. He only gets gas when its bed time.....idk whats up with that.

I have no idea. Maybe it's something to do with his routine? DS had colic and was gassy all the time. I'm really, really hoping this baby isn't like that.
