Well most of the posts I saw in a click glance from OP were about religion somehow.

Just because you don't believe in the way the religion is NOW does not mean you don't believe in parts of the religion when you worship their Deity... It's like Paradigm Shift said... "I hate dairy but I LOVE cheese!"

I'm not trying to say it doesn't make sense. I'm saying I know people that are like this.

I would have to disagree. A person can be spiritual, but not religious.

Thank you for mentioning that. Spirituality and religion are not really the same thing and there are many on this earth who don't follow religion buit still believe in God.

First bold sentence means that fundies can't use the OT law against gays now that Jesus is come.

Second bold sentence means that gays are just as fine as anyone else when they keep faith in Jesus.

If you believe in the deity, you believe in PARTS of the religion. Just because it's not what organized religion is today, it's still a part of religion.

That's what I thought!! I wasn't too sure on that when she posted.

It was always explained to me as someone who isn't athiest but doesn't believe in a god either and doesn't really care to find out.

I know God loves everyone.


As a Christian woman who attends church every Sunday, we've never discussed the "God doesn't love gays" nor do we even bring up people's sexual orientation. Not all churches are against gays and lesbians....and it sucks some churches ruin it all for the ones trying to do good.

No...I don't believe they're allowed to pick and choose which parts they want to follow.

I was speaking for myself really. I would consider myself spiritual (to a certain degree), but I definitely do not follow or belong to any religion.
