how often to work out? *poll*

So Im not working out yet, giving my body plenty of time to recover, but I really want to focus on making healthier choices for myself, Ive started with my diet and Im trying to focus on positive things and choices.
If you have lost weight (like 20+ pounds) how many days a week did you do cardio? How long each day? At what intensity? Im thinking about doing something like the couch to 5k because I have a treadmill.

I walk/bike at least an hour every day and do pilates 3x a week.

Are you losing weight or is that to maintain your current weight? Thats great you get so much in!

i did 3 times a day 7 days a week and lost 50 pounds in no time

To lose I did 1 hr of cardio (intense, can't talk and do it, panting and sweating) per day 3-4 days per week plus light weight training (for tone) and another mile or two walking 2-3 times per week with my son/stroller just to get out of the house.

Neither, really. I walk and bike because driving here blows and I walk or bike as a result whenever possible. The pilates is just a thing I started with a friend and ended up enjoying. I'm not in super great shape or anything--but I do get a bit of exercise in, and it feels good.
