Pissed me the F off!!!

DH and I don't fight. Ever. He's damn awesome and good to me.
And then there was this.

I had an early Dr appt. he was supposed to come. My parents were even taking the girls. I texted him a second reminder (first was verbal) one hour prior. He'd gone off to do a garage door an was driving my van, also had his keys for his vehicles.
Texted him 30 minutes prior. Nothing. 20 minutes. At this point I flipped my lid. Got super worried. He has beer done anything like this before! My mind is darting back and forth from feeling completely enraged and completely worried that he is dead or dying somewhere. I called him 5x! Nothing.
I have my scooter pod, but I couldn't take it because I still had the kids- we were supposed to drop them off! Also, its way too damn cold to drive that thing, Id die of hypothermia before I'd make it the 25ish miles.

So I went an locked myself in the bathroom as I watched the time for my appt roll around. Sat there and cried.

Then in comes hubby, jolly as can be. WTF. Where were you? My appt? How could you be so selfish and thoughtless? Etc.

Oh boy

He hadn't gotten the complete info from the homeowners and had left his phone at his brothers when he went to pick him up.
They went to the same street only "north" not south. Attempted to enter because the homeowner had said he'd be gone. This person was there, though, and so they just called the cops.

Cops showed up thinking it was a B&E and had to question my DH and BIL!

Now I feel like a pregnant fool. I sobbed in that bathroom for a good 20 minutes and seriously almost decked him when he said "Honey, I'm home"

Pregnancy hormones! Glad he came back. Hopefully you made it to your appointment in time!

Nope. Missed my appt completely. I was so enraged I didn't even call the doc. Still haven't. I am actually calling now to reschedule.

I would have been mad too! Hopefully he can make it up to you by
taking you out to dinner or getting you flowers.

It was just me freaking out. Nothing he could do! Probably pretty scary for him too!

This is were a nice dinner just for the two of you comes in. Oh I'm so sorry =/

He did cook me a really good meal, made it nice and spicy and even cooked the kids something different.

No need to be sorry! He explained to the cops and they verified his story, so everything is fine.

I just felt bad that I flipped my lid the way I did, and was ready to rip his head off over NOTHING. It almost seemed like I was looking for a fight! We literally have not had a fight since winter of last year.

Maybe I just need to stir things up and get pissed every once in awhile? I don't know, but I felt out of my mind!

I even sent him mean texts!
I hope he deleted them so he doesn't have a record of them.

i would've been pissed off too,but you know what i bet this is something you both will laugh about in the future. Pregnancy hormones are something else.
