I am all about the epidurals. Tried without in my first pregnancy. What the hell was I thinking? I sure didn't feel like the macho man I wanted to be. Felt like smurf. Never again. Finished it up with the epidural, and will ALWAYS use epidural.

I had an epi with my first and I'll have one with my next, unless I have an extremely short labor.

Hell no!
I tried to do it without an epi, once the pitocin contractions started coming on fast and strong I gave in lol but it didn't work, at all! So, I did it without, I would NOT want to do it again.
Who knows though, I could just be a wuss

I had an epidural with my first and second. Tried to do without on my 3rd, since I was 6 cm before I even got to the hospital. Made it to about 8 cm and thought I was gonna lose it. Got the epidural. Glad I did. Lol.

I had NO epi with my 2nd and it was brutal pain, but my labor in the hospital lasted 2 hrs and she was out in 7 mins. The contractions were a SOB but then again being able to feel it all and being able to know when to push and to feel your baby sliding down inside you,... kinda kool.
I had the epi with my 1st baby....and I was so numb to where they had to tell me everything bc I felt nada and was in labor 12 hrs and took 30-40 min on pushing.
3rd baby, a stupid c-sec.

I tried really hard to not get it, but I got to 9 cm before giving up after 36 hours of labor with no meds. But I will do it next time all natural!!

I got it with all mine and getting it with this baby. I love being able to chill and watch T.V. pain free.

i had no pain relief with my first and had a 23 hour labour and will be doing the same again this time, fingers crossed this little one will be quicker then 23 hours.
I say go with what ever you body is telling you, every labour and birth is diffrent and only you are the one which knows what your body is asking for, so try not to think about it and go with the flow. All the best x
