baby and eczema

posted 28th Nov
LO keeps getting bad rashes on his belly. Now on his elbows. I really think it's eczema. It started about 2 weeks after we started solids.

Could it be an allergy?
Idk what he would be allergic to. I make all his baby food aside for some fruits and I buy organic, all natural pouches- no dye or preservatives.

He eats oatmeal baby cereal, avocado, peas, squash, spinach, peas, sweet potato, banana, apricots, mango, peaches, pear and apple. also, puffs and yogurt w blueberry.

I wouldn't know what to cut out....
Hes occasionally had strawberry....

I've been using steroid cream per his doctor. Its not working. Sometimes it goes away for a day and its back. Nothing in my diet has changed at all
I use free and clear detergent- no dryer sheets

test the theory and stop all newly introduced solids. After his skin clears only introduce 1 every week or 2. This way you can rule out allergies and if it is an allergy, you can find out which food is causing it..

Did it just start randomly? I have been using the aveeno eczema cream, hydrocortisone and eucerine cream. Cade had eczema but he was closer to 2 years old I think. I never liked aquaphor. Couldn't spread it as easily as eucerine

you need the aquaphor. i know its thick and gross, but it works.

and yeah it came on suddenly around 4 months old, as soon as the cold/dry weather hit.
