Don't know what to think

Ok so I have been having contractions off and on since monday, they weren't painful at first but today they are getting more and more painful. On monday they were every 2 to 7 mins apart and slowed down to 10 to 15 when I ate something so they wrote it off as, me not eatting every 2 hours or some crap was causing me to contract. I'm 36 weeks will my 4th baby and my last baby I had at 36 weeks and before that almost the same. My husband thinks I'm going to be having him soon to. And when I called my doctor she said to go to labor and delivery because I'm most likely in labor but my husband is at work and the hospital said my daughter isn't allowed in the room. Which is pissing me off cause she should be allowed why should my husband miss the birth of his son because they don't want her at the hospital or room. So well I guess my question I'm looking for is what everyone else thinks. Everytime I have a contraction I get wet down there but it's not like broken water wet though. Every time I take a step it feels like something is pinching down there, as well as hurting really bad. I have pressure down there also. Every time I feel like I have to pee I try and only alittle bit comes out. I just don't want to go to labor and delivery and it be nothing, at the same time have my husband get off work for no reason and try to find someone to be with my daughter also, for nothing.

f you're getting wet with every contraction and it's not urine then it is amniotic fluid and you need to go to L&D or else you could get an infection. call your husband, tell him your water is leaking and you have to go to the hospital.

My water did that while I was in labour. It was leaking from the top of the amniotic sac instead of the bottom. They broke them completely to try to move things along.

Ya its not pee, just the thing I'm confused about is my water broke with my last kids and it got every where but this kid if it is broken is not but once my water broke wuth my last kids my contractions stopped all together and they had to induce me to start the contractions again.

Well they say that not every pregnancy/ labour is the same

theyre not all the same. my water broke on its own with my first and it has to be broken with my 2nd.
