Sounds silly but maybe just replace the bag? If its still in there maybe that's why you're smelling it? Did he get it on the table or it was left overnight on the paper towel?? I hate the resin smell too, it gets you high as smurf but the smell is awful! Oh to smoke again, damnit! I miss it and if DH wasn't so against it you bet I'd be taking a hit now and then!!  

Did you get it on any of your clothes, and then put them in the laundry hamper?
