if someone ever said this to you....

If you are pretty much the only person who parents your child and someone who wasn't their parent told you this when you were saying that you want consequences to be consistent.

"There is zero consistance regariding things with her right now."

what would they be telling you in your mind?

My mind would automatically go to "they're implying I'm a smurffy parent"

I would wonder what "things" they were talking about.. How exactly are these "things" different now than before

This. It's like they're saying I'm not a stable or consistent mother.

That her behavior is inconsistent...B says this sometimes.

Ok, yeah that is what I thought to. I am being told I misinterpreted it. I obviously did not, what I think is someone lost their temper and said something that was supposed to be hurtful to lash out, then felt bad about it after and tried to say that he didn't.
