Should I go in or not?

posted 28th Nov
Ok so my MIL and my SIL both think I should go get checked out. When I went to my MIL's house today I got out of the car and felt really wet and dripping down my legs. I rushed to the bathroom and dried myself off, it wasn't like whole lot wasn't gushing or anything and it was clear I know it wasn't pee. Since then I haven't had anymore leaking, though I'm not like COMPLETELY dry down there but I've been kind of crampy and been having some BH and some lower back pain when I'm standing. I dunno, since I'm not like soaking my underwear or anything I don't feel that worried, should I go to the hospital or call my doctor or not worry about it?

You need to go in. Could be a slow leak.

Even if it's not, why risk it? Wouldn't you rather know it's nothing to worry about than to find out that you should've went in and didn't?

Better safe than sorry. If you dont want to to go in right away atleast call your OB and let them make the decision for you.

I'd highly recommend letting your OB know bout this... My 1st pregnancy I had this exact same thing happen to me except I really didnt notice until I went to my midwife one morning bc I had some spotting, they did an ultrasound and found out I was losing amnotic fluid.. After that they sent me to a specialist for further testing, they told me that I had a small leak.. They said there's small chance it could fix itself.. Without amnotic fluid the chances of the baby surviving is very small and more likely Id miscarry within 2 wks, if by chance I didnt and continued to carry id b at risk of severe infection, baby could b premature, and once baby was born would more likely not survive long, if baby survived would have bunch medical problems.. they said there was nothing they could do to fix the leak and made me an appt to come back after 2 wks.. in this 2 wks is when I really started noticing that I had this leak... the baby passed away 4 days from my appt, I was 5 months pregnant, and baby was born stillborn... nothing was wrong w/ my daughter she was completely healthy, I just didnt have the fluid she needed to survive... there's a name for this but I cant remember what it is and its actually very rare, chances of it happening again is slim to none.. im currently pregnant again, 3 months along, 4 yrs after wut happend w/ my 1st pregnancy, my midwife monitors my fluid and everything closely this time... Im not saying this same thing is happening to u now, im srry if this freaked u out but it sounded to similar to wut I went through, call your OB though and tell them wuts going on and they'll get u right in.. I wouldn't worry bout it until uve seen your doctor and really find out wuts going on first..
