My daughter always gets infections from any kind of soap, bubble baths are totally out of the question. Poor girl

Tea tree oil is baby safe? I use tea tree oil shampoo for my adult version of cradle cap. LO has cradle cap now. I wonder if his pedi would approve of me trying it on his scalp. It has gotten rid of my outbreaks.

The absolute best thing for cradle cap is coconut oil. Its an anti fungal and smells great. Slather it on and let it marinate (lol) then wash his hair after a while. It can also be used on the head and body to rub out dry patches, just rub it in afterwards.

I was the same way as a kid. I was never allowed to take baths. I still cant.
I use plain ivory soap watered down which hasnt caused any infections yet. ::Crosses fingers::

Where do you buy it? Health food store? Do I just look for pure coconut oil? I must try this. I hate having to use baby oil.

LOs PT'ed and we still have a package left, i use them time from time to clean her face or clean in general.

I just like the smell of them in general. I think it makes it easier to change diapers if I am smelling the wipes over messy diapers, but I also add powder to his butt once he's clean to help him feel fresh and smell better. So, honestly, unscented wipes are OK too and I've used them when he's had rashes or went through periods of sensitive skin (more so in the dry fall/winter weather).

Make sure you get the virgin kind and unrefined to avoid any chemicals. This is the kind I use and love it: http://www.drbronner.com/coconut_oils.php
I rub it all over after my shower.

Thanks girls! I'll have to pick some up next time I'm out shopping. I'm going to do more research about its effect on your cardiovascular health. My family could really use help in that area unfortunately. Heart problems run in the family on both sides.
