I've noticed that a lot of you arent intending to do much with your money. Many of you will probably only spend a million or 2 of the $300+. Buying a house, paying credit cards and upgrading your car wont make much of a dent.
What will you do with all the unspent money (if this describes your intent)??

2m for each "family" in my family. Then invest as well as buy an affordable house/car then split it between saving collage funs and spending.

Mostly, I'd just like to be able to travel a lot.

I said that for part of my answer... haha

With that much money, I would definitely start a business, aside from saving/investing half of the winnings. The problem would be deciding which business to start.

Basically.... I would be a machine once I won, and do everything that I possibly could to get the most out of that money in the short term and long term.

My friend is starting a business, so I'd invest. Maybe start my own shop, as well... buy a few tim hortons... lol

Buy a dozen nice properties, put my mom in one of them, rent out the ones we don't live in.

Set aside $10 million for LO & go back to school.

Donate $300 million to various charities and causes.

Id buy a home. Put an inheritance up for my son. Divide 100million or so between my family. pay off all my smurf. and then use about 5 million dollars to do ALL SORTS of fun smurf. matter fact, let me go buy my tickets now....

Yes, i bought a ticket. I rarely buy lottery tickets. I just like to dream about winning and i usually dont think about it much unless i have a ticket.

Nah. If I wanted to be an evil, selfish, rich person, I'd put that smurf in a swimming pool, swim around in it, and then light it on fire.

I GUESS ID give3 to charity but mainly live off of it, i guess id want to be able to have a good enough life to do as i wanted when i wanted and my son as well. travel see the world etc hire a maid even, id def give out some of the money to a diabetic charity thou.

pay off our mortgage
pay off my/DH's families mortgages
pay off my and DH's families bills
put up a huge privacy fence & security sytem around my house
have a farm
give enough money for my parents and DH's parents to retire
get an accountant
set up accounts for the boy's education
limit ourselves to a set yearly amount that we can spend until we die

Give 10% to family
20% of winnings split between Mercury One, Wounded Warriors Project, and Hero Dogs
10% to buy a house/travel/junk
50% in investments/gold/DD's college fund
10% in prepping supplies and land plus quite a few weapons and ammo and possibly a decomissioned piece of artillery
