Hiccups

Is there any way to relieve them? My poor baby just cries and cries

drinking water (or formula/bm depending on how old). That's the only thing I can think of that has a chance of helping.

I use little remedies gripe water for it. Which is also used to treat colic. Good stuff to keep around the house! You should get some.
