Insomnia, Help!!

Its not me, its my SO. Hes suffered with this for a whole year now and the doctors are refusing to help, plus getting him to a doctor is a chore on its own. He can fall asleep but staying asleep is another matter, and its changing his whole personality from being paitent and laid back, to uptight and angry.

Has anyone had this..can you offer any suggestions? Id be so grateful.

I have it and sometimes i was take sleeping pills, but you just got to be careful with them because you know they're addictive. Does he do anything active like workout or sports?

melatonin. OTC all natural sleeping pill. It has done wonders for me

He works as a lorry driver delivouring timber, so his work is a work out, I personally couldn't keep up.

Its not stress, we have tried things to make his world so relaxed but still after hes fell asleep, three hours later he's up and unable to go back even though he is totally shattered.

are you sure its not your bed? i recently switched to a memory foam mattress and it has made loads of difference. I also recommend lavender oils to be sprinkled on your pillows and cammomile tea before bed. for a stronger sedative: a glass of red wine does the trick for me

Nah our mattress is still going good its partly memory foam. My friend described it as "it's like I'm sitting on a heavenly cloud, can i just nap here for like ten minutes"

We have done lavender, teas, we have tried drinks from a glass to full on plastered and he's still up early.
