No she doesn't have a TV. We don't allow TVs in the bedrooms.

I would try my idea again, just be more firm. Let her know when it is time for bed there is ZERO playing around.

not really, no.

t.v. overstimulates the brain & allowing a not even 2-yr-old to watch t.v. all night long until they pass out is not teaching them to fall asleep on their own.

Alright. Will do :/

But I don't know if it will work. Like I said she's always been that baby who put herself to sleep. Even when I was nursing. She would nurse. And then would stay awake until I put her in her room for a nap. Then she would put herself to sleep. It's always been her routine

STEP ONE.....DO THIS NOW BEFORE YOU GO CRAZY..

Go online and find and then read "go the smurf to sleep"....

Step two is to laugh and gain some sanity back.

It's okay. I understand the lack of sleep. My DD is 17 months old and still wakes up 6 or more times a night.

I hope things get better for you soon!

I had climbers to. I had to get a baby a gate like this except it was taller. 4 feet

I know, it sucks   kids get difficult sometimes. I think my son was actually difficult being put to bed at that age. he had his own toddler bed but sometimes we co-slept because it's honestly just easier sometimes   just keep sticking to the routine, but maybe crack down on her more? not like, scream at her or anything LOL. idk if I'm making sense

Where did you get it from? I get paid next Thursday so if it works with the climbing, I'll buy one.

I would have to threat to spank my niece every night after she'd get out of bed no joke 15-20 times. I thought I was the only one.

Typical response from a 16 year old. No it overstimulates and it isn't the best habit.

No I know what you mean. When she isn't in her room she's usually pretty well mannered (for a 22 month old) and listens well. Even her doctor said she listens well. So besides screaming, spanking, yelling, and putting her back in bed for 4 hours, (I'm gonna try sitting in there again lol) I don't know what else to do bc I just want her to sleep
