BG doctors?! help.

My DD has a 'rash' I guess you would call it.
It's located on her leg right above her ankle, but you can't see it.
It's just bumpy like a frogs skin?
It's about the size of a pea maybe a tad bigger.

What is it?

Eczema.......

New shoes?
Shoes rubbing against her skin?

consider yourself lucky. my one year old has had eczema since he was a baby and it covers his whole body, if i dont keep him in pants all the time he scratches it untill it bleeds

Winter tends to aggravate it, my LO got it for the first time when he was 8mos old.

What do I do for it?

bathe daily, keep it moisturized with an eczema cream. if it gets REALLY bad, the doc can perscribe some steroid cream.

What's the best OTC?
Will it spread? It's only tiny patches on her legs.

Hydrocortisone cream (check with her ped ir the pharmacist first) and a thick cream lotion like cera ve or curel cream.

My dr said to avoid bathing too often because it severely dries out the skin and excerbates the eczema

After screaming her head off at the beach my niece was taken to the dermatologist and told three baths daily with steroid cream and moisturizer. Took about three days to clear up and it was at a pretty nasty stage.
I dont think you would need to go to that extreme but eczema cream should do the job and just pay attention to things like the type of washing powder you use, wipes, could also be change in diet etc.
