mucas plug

ok i was due yesterday im scheduled to be induced thursday at 6.30 am..the last 3 times ive gone to the bathroom tonight ive had pretty large amounts of green plug come out (ive been losing it slowly over the past like 2 months) well this last time i went to go potty i got up and started walking to find some sharp pain in my pelvic region then after wiping noticed my plug had a bit of red tint to it it looked almost pink...(and was a bit mor than normal) could this be a sign of labor...

maybe, maybe not. you're at your due date, so labour COULD start at any time. it doesnt mean its going to happen immediatly though. Ive been losing mucous like crazy and im not even dilated.

So dont get induced! You wouldnt even be a week overdue. tell your doctor to wait.

green doesnt sound right? idk though ive only had one kid lol mine looked like snot but with blood in it and it was pretty gross but it wasnt green lol everyones different i guess lol

as the cervix softens it breaks the capillaries while expanding. that is why you loose your mucus plug that can regenerate through the pregnancy. the more you expand the more caparilles break causing the bloody show. if you start bleeding more then that's a good sign that your cervix is getting ready for labor

i was having green mucous and went in to see my family DR yesterday and he said llight green is normal. I didnt see any mucous really with my other kids, so i didnt know, but if its like...bright green, or brown, then its an issue.

I started losing mine today! At first it was a small piece on my panty liner and the second time when I wiped it was like 6inches long and stringy like. Kinda nasty! And light green. And I've been crampy all day!! Like my period is coming on.

that could happen daily until your due date...or even past!

the thing is im so miserable at this point that i literally cant roll over in bed without my pubic bone clicking causing a sharp pain all the way up my body. and the baby is really big =/ and yes green...it was green with my first to not like dark green but like a very tinted green.

i had trouble gettig it all off haha cause it was so sticky which was weird im standing int he mirror trying to pick it all off i was in there so long my hubby was like r u ok lmao ive been crampy all day i was due yesterday so im hoping its soon
