At what age did you transition your LO into their own crib/bed?

18 months we set up her toddler bed and she transitioned very well...she has been in her own bed about 2 months. We read b4 bedtime and she lays down and is usually out for the night. Occasionally she wants to come sleep with mommy n daddy

Mine is 18mo and he wont fall asleep unless I'm right there with a boob in his mouth. I climb into his toddler bed with him and sneak out when he's asleep, he stays in for about 3 hours then climbs into my bed. It's been an on going battle his whole life trying to get him in his own bed, with minimal success.

i have his crib attached to my bed. im trying to get him to sleepp in it and once weve mastered that i will move his crib away from mine. he still ends up in my bed half way through the night. he is 11 weeks old.

Mine still sleeps with me but, I think she is starting to want to sleep on her own now...breaks my heart but meh she is getting older now. She is 10 months btw. After she falls asleep on the boob, she has to lay on her own or she fusses until she does.

This is what I'm a little concerned about do I've started leaving him (in our bed) while he is still awake that way it might not be so hard down the track. Lol I don't think I could climb into a toddler bed with him, I'm sure my DH would look at me like WTF? Lol

She self transitioned at around 9 months, just wouldn't fall asleep in our bed anymore   Her bed is still in our room and she sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night and wants in our bed, she'll be 12 mos in 2 days.

Just keep at it, if you are serious about not cosleeping you have to keep putting him in his own bed. I made the mistake of napping with him in my bed, he just will not fall asleep without me. Oh, and the toddler bed is like 4 feet long, I'm 5'8"...........
