LOL. Well, I guess in that month you have plenty of time to get caught up on your studies and maybe even a little a head.

I have a 15 yr old nephew who never turns in his homework. Sometimes he even does it, just never turns it in. My sister actually makes him do every assignment in one sitting. If that means he is doing assignments for 10 hours, so be it. Be thankful she isn't your mother. lol

Community college is still college with the same schedule. Get used to spending long hours studying. If you are a good listener, lecture will be easy and the assignments will come natural. The thing about college is that you write a ton of papers. That is time consuming. Take this month of being grounded and get yourself into a study routine and don't break it. Take about 2hrs after school each night and devote it to homework. If you get done early, take the rest of the time to revisit a subject that you are having a hard time with. This will help you get in a routine for the major classes and assignments that you will have. Figure you are done by 5:30. Plenty of time left in the evening to do what you need. If you get started right after school while your mind is still on school, it is easier to get it done and not get distracted.

yeah im trying to get caught up now. but now im gonna miss more school and am so stressed out rite now. not sure how i am ever gonna pass anything

i do get distracted in class easy and start to lose interest and day dream after like 20 minutes. thats my biggest problem in class. i started doing more of my homework but not all of it was rite i guess. plus i forgot my notebook for one class and the teacher went around to check notebooks and if u didnt have it you got a 0 and that counts as a quiz. im not sure what to do. i cant even think of doing any of my work cuz im so stressed out with stuff going on now to.

Well, you definately have more on your plate than the average teen does.

Time for you to make a schedule for yourself and learn to stick with it. make a check list if you have to.

I can't lie, I would get to day dreaming in classes as well. It is pretty normal. The best way to thwart something like that is to increase the protien in your diet. You can also grab a granola bar between classes. It will help you stay alert and less day dreaming. Try to take notes in class. Sometimes that keeps you focused. Even if you are only jotting down a few important tid bits at a time. Start with an outline and see how far you get with it.

You basically have a lot of bad habits that are difficult to break. Especially at this point in school. You will just have to sit down and do it.

I personally have to have a schedule and a routine. If anything is out of whack drastically, it throws me off for a few days. I have learned to create a schedule and allow a little room for movement but still I have to stay on schedule.

so you mean like 5-6 i do my government homework then 6-7 physics and keep going like that?

i can try to write down some notes and see how that goes cuz when i go back im gonna be really behind so i need to pay attention.

im really worried about graduating now. i missed so many days already and now im out again for a while. i tried doing some work but my headaches are to bad and i get dizzy.

i really regret missing classes this year now. i think im gonna fail government and physics.
