Adam and Eve

This is stemming from an older debate I had, but I'm wondering about it lol

Short version: In respect to creationism vs. evolution, someone said "how do you know that God didn't create evolution and Adam and Eve were humans." I LOL'd because she wasn't making a valid argument throughout the entire thread. That being said, were Adam and Eve human? And no "it's up for interpretation" bullsmurf, please. I looked it up and it said God created man and clearly distinguishes between animals and humans (imo).

So, are Adam and Eve human or animal? And if you believe in God, do you think that through creationism, he created evolution? lol

I believe they were human. It says he breathed life into Adam and called him "man", well according to what I believe to be a man the that means they were human.

And I totally thought this was going to be about the sex toys website before I opened it.  

I believe Adam and Eve were humans- so technically an animal. But I don't believe in evolution.

Both. Humans are animals, but I think the Bible makes a distinction.

Heh heh me too

In the bible it clearly says that Adam was man and Eve was woman, so I think that kinda means they were human? Also because Genesis says that one of Adam's jobs was to name all the animals God put on Earth. And no, I don't think saying God created evolution would be accurate because he said that Adam was created from dust and Eve was created from Adam's rib when he was sleeping.

Buut you could always argue that evolution was created by Satan as an attempt to disprove the creationalism theory and turn people from God's word.

I always forget humans are classified as mammals.
I didn't pay attention in biology.   lol

The bible was written by man and is only followed by Christians. Every religion has its own book so who can really say which is right or wrong?
