I believe the so -called fall of man was actually a blessing. Meaning we as souls would get to know something by experiencing the opposite. How could we really know joy without experiencing sorrow. As for death there is no such thing. It is an illusion. Besides why would I want to live forever in what is sometimes refered to as the ashcan of the universe known as earth.
