sick baby or normal?

posted 27th Nov
She is almost 8 months old and she is clinging to me like never before she screams when i put her down she holds onto me so tight i COULD let go and she would not fall she is bruising my arms from holding them so thight i can hardly put her down to pee. We were around family last week who had the flu and shes been like this for almost 2 days her cheeks are very rosie.

Im just wondering if this is normal. She is actually nursing right this minute but she is still holding me so tight this is not normal

Is she showing any other signs of being sick?
It could just be separation anxiety.

No and its possible shes just started sleeping in her crib in her room alone and waking up seems to mess with her i guess.

My 7 month has been like that too and she's getting her first tooth. All the same stuff she is doing and she also seems sick but it's just from her teething.

It could be related to that. She's used to you being around all the time, even at night. Now you aren't, so she just wants you to hold her all day.
I would babywear until she grows out of it.

My son is SO not cuddly. I almost hope he'll go through this phase someday.
You're going to LOVE the Ergo! We have one and I've been using it since my son was a newborn- he loves it too!

Cheeks are probably red from teething. I wouldn't worry unless a fever shows up.
