I will! The name is staying on the list and is (so far) the only name on either gender's list. Ill weigh in the VALID reasons for disliking it like that it diesnt nickname well and may not age extremely well. Other thsn that the arguments dont seem realistic---maybe spelling arguments, but no one has suggested a better or alternative spelling either.

Honestly any name is going to just be a personal preference...even the alternate spellings. I think some spellings that are made to look different are dumb and becoming a trend no a difference but still a preference. lol There will always be people to hate names so I wouldn't even take people's words on a name (good or bad) into account because at the end of the day it's your baby and your choice.

I'd much much rather see an Ainsley than another Madison or Isabella

Thats what I thought. I know I've seen the name used a fair amount and never seen it spelled any other way besides "Ainslie" which said it was a variation of Ainsley (and I don't like that spelling at all. So, WTF is up with all the "ambiguous spelling" BS?

I get that not everyone out there is going to love any name I choose (I'm sure not many love the name Axton---but its a real name, with meaning, from another culture, and spelled normally. Plus it fits my kiddo PERFECTLY).
