he's only 4!!? awww.

when someone has a birthday party in my daughter's classroom either all the children are invited or none of them. we dont have any "bad" kids. her school has a very selective admissions process. do unto others...

Invite him. You don't want to raise hell with his parents who might complain to the school about a lack of invitation.

I think he might have behavioral issues . Or maybe he's just spoiled, who knows.

Either way, hopefully they just don't come or he by some miracle behaves.

I think she's the first birthday they've had since she started in August, so idk how the other parents would handle it.

I think it's ridiculous to say I have to provide food for everyone or my kid can't have a birthday. What if I couldn't afford that smurf?

It's her choice.

He very well may have other issues going on in his life that cause him to act out that way and he may just need some time and someone to be kind to him. Seriously I was a horrible child at 5 due to the abuse from my father and it wasn't really due to any fault of my own. You can't blame a 4 year old for being an ass. I definitely would not exclude him. and when you say he's going to injure one of your guests, I can't imagine a 4 year old could do that much damage. if he pulls someones hair or throws a cup of water, it's not the end of the world. better to make him feel accepted, otherwise he'll never have an opportunity to change.

The kid has bitten hard enough to break the skin and has twice caused another child to need stitches. That's not "throwing a cup of water" harmless.

I don't know why he's still enrolled there really he's a walking liability for the school.

i think you're missing my point... in a lot of preschools / grade schools its school policy to invite everyone. aw well.

I wouldn't invite him, but I'm an smurf.
Other kids needing stitches? That's ridiculous an dangerous. What if he seriously injures another kid and wrecks your daughters birthday??

I'm not sure, he hadn't bitten anyone when the parents are around but he's not a daily bitter either so it might be a hit or miss thing.

I'm now kind of costarring just having my daughter invite her like 8 closest friends and avoid the whole thing.

Yeah, that's why I'm having a hard time.

I don't want to exclude him, but I don't want to have to be worrying about what he's doing the whole party either.
