please help me!!

I had my wisdom tooth pulled yesterday. I finally got it to stop bleeding about 5 this morning. My dentist gave me amox. and ibprofen(Sp) 800mg but my face still hurts soo bad and it hurts to eat ANYTHING. Is there anything else I can do to ease the pain

tylenol and rest... I had all four ripped out at the same time 9 months ago :-P


eta: alternate advil and tylenol.. works better.

They didn't give u Vicodin? Poor thing  

I thought they would have given you something stronger..? I would call and ask. The worst they can do is say no...

My oral surgeon gave me percocet when I had all four of mine pulled. Maybe you can call and see about getting something stronger.

they gave me hydrocodone to last though thanskgiving because i refused to let them pull it the day before LOL. But this time after they pulled it only gave me ibuprofen   it don't help at all and I wanna cry. I'll call in the morning but I need something now to stop it. & I really don't wanna take 2 ibuprofens..that is dangerous and im not a big fan of pills cuz of my gag reflex.   I'll try tylenol and advil hopefully it works
