picking the right avocado

Avocado is my sons favorite food. I get him a bunch and half of them have brownish spots inside when I open them. Is that just a bruise or does it mean the fruit is bad? I was told to get them when they are squishy for a better baby texture but they look like this half the time?

its just a bruise. avocados get brown quick thats why they put lime juice in guacamole

They are fine. I don't know what the brown spots mean, but you can still eat it.

They turn brown from exposure to air and light. Perfectly fine to eat  

I pick out the in betweeners, not squishy but squishy enough. It's trial and error. Sometimes, I get a good one, sometimes they all suck. Brown spots aren't a bad sign, though, it's still edible. Kinda want one now. Yums.
