Doctors dont care if you're on Medicaid, youre grasping right now. Most of them don't even know what insurance you're on until after you get treated.

Well yeah in that case they know but in most cases they don't. When I worked at the hospital they weren't allowed to know what insurance if any a patient was on. Neither were the nurses

It doesn't matter if you're measuring 19 weeks or 9 weeks. Movement still isn't constant yet. There is no need to do an ultrasound. They heard the heartbeat. An ultrasound is a HUGE waste of money.

If you're measuring big at 22+ weeks, how is 19 1/2 weeks bigger than that? :/

When I went to L&D for continuous BH contractions, they wouldn't monitor me because I was only 19 weeks and they would only see women that were 20+ weeks. If I were to go bank to that first er now, they would send me away. Different policies and aren't equipped to take care of babies

Eta: not the first ER, if I were to go to the second they would send me away since I'm passed the 20 week mark. They're not equipped like L&D is

Seriously, take a chill pill.
If you're nervous, order a doppler online for $50 so you can check the heartbeat whenever you want for free (I own one, it definitely helped me be less nervous after six losses).

Even with having loss after loss after loss, like me, you HAVE to learn what's normal and what's not. Even with a HUGE baby, its normal to not feel regular daily movement until up to 25 weeks or so! That's why they don't start kick counts til 28 weeks! If you don't know whats normal you're going to freak yourself out and make yourself crazy for NOTHING.

CHILL. Try caffeine, sugar, or icy cold drinks to get baby to move. or just lay down and be very quiet---baby is probably sleeping. They do that a LOT until around 25-30 weeks!

I didn't say I was 22 weeks. 17 weeks 5 days and my baby is measuring 19 1/2 weeks. Sigh

Sorry I read your OP wrong

But yeah it's still WAY too soon to feel regular movements at 17+ weeks. I didn't feel any movements until 18 and even then it was a tap every now and then.

I agree with this.

And OP, it only makes you sound ignorant to say they don't care if you're on Medicaid. It's insurance and they are getting paid no matter what insurance you are on. SMH.
