They probably aren't concerned, because it's NORMAL.

It isnt they don't care it is that they aren't equipped as well as birth centers or L&D to handle pregnancy

This is my secound pregnacy I am haven a big baby and even my husband and lil brother can see as well as feel the movements of the baby. No they just did a heart monater for a few secounds had a very hard time finden the heart beat when they did it was 144 and then they did blood work n urin sample. In fairfield they seem not to care. All other hospitals will do and ultrasound and monater the movement. They really didn't care. I had complications wth my last pregnacy and it started the same way.

Jeez. I didn't feel the baby move at AT ALL until 22 weeks. And that's with my second.

ETA: And he was also a big baby, not that I could know that at 22 weeks. It's just the way I was carrying.

If you heard the heartbeat then theres no reason to be worried....and you don't know if your baby will be big yet :/

Okay well you need to calm down and don't act like they don't care. Whether its your first, second, or third pregnancy, no constant movement before 22-24 weeks is not concerning.

Oh no I promise you my ER just doesnt care. If you go in there and say you're pregnant they role their eyes and point down the hall and tell us to go to the birthing center. I went in at 10 weeks once because I was having breathing problems- something that the birthing center can't do anything about, and they sent me there because I was pregnant.

You cant possibly know you're having a big baby. And you heard the heart beat there's no reason to say they don't care

But not all ERs are the same and you implied that they were. The ER sent anybody pregnant to L&D when you were past 16 weeks.

That's what my hospital did when I had the flu and I couldn't breathe. They sent me to L&D because I was in my third trimester. They gave me an NST and told me I had no contractions. No smurf! lol.

Because movement isn't consistent. YOU may feel the movement, but that doesn't mean you can be trusted to feel every movement and be able to track them. It's not that they don't care, it's that it's statistically insignificant at your point.

Yeah houston and dallas even palastine cares. They keep you on a heart monater and do an ultrasound. Also my baby is measuring 19 1/2 weeks. The doctors only care if ur not on medicade. Wtf. Sigh wish doctors would take more care in pregnant weman and our babys.

Even with MY history (and its been long and rough), my doc isn't concerned if I don't feel movement (and I have been feeling movement for WEEKS) for hours or even a day or so at a time.

I just drink a pumpkin spice latte or a big cup of ice water.

If anything Dr's take TOO MUCH of pregnant woman. In the US they rarely let anything just go naturally, instead they tend to intervene too much.
