c-sections/glider chairs

I am having a c-section with my daughter. My son is 13mo now and we just got a chair. I was trying to rock him to sleep (the whole reason I got it was I can't keep walking him to sleep) and my stomach hurts now from it. I'm wondering what it will be like after a c-section to use the chair. Will I have to wait?

A glider should be fine. I mean you will be sore it was surgery. But idk what atomic is. My scar hurt a while when I got up and down.

I couldnt use mine after my c-section. It hurt my back WAY to much, and It was already a bitch to get up as it was.

I had my csection at 2am and I was in the glider in the mother baby suite by 10am. It's not too bad getting down, but the up can be a little tricky it hurts a little more.

I got up out of the bed at the hospital several times a day and sat and nursed in the glider. It does take some work getting up out of the seat but that happens no matter where you sit. And I used the glider at home around the clock.

And you guys were able to rock okay? I can't remember with my son if I rocked him. I remember sitting down and not being able to get up with him in my arms. But idk if I rocked okay or not.

I tried to and it was okay for the short time I did... short strides. I had a slightly squeaky chair so I tried not to move it lol the smallest amount of noise like that gets to me

yeah I had no isses rockin. After I got home I took 800 mg of ibuprofen every 6 to 8 hours around the clock for several days b/c if I didn't I would get kinda achy in the incision area but other than that it wasn't bad at all.
