Psh my kids can do that damage in a day, they are slobs. I can see your frustration though OP, my SO stayed home with the kids while I worked and we all shared a little room too. All three of them had the room trashed by time I got home from work and I cleaned that room every night and hated it, I even gave my SO dirty looks while I did it until he started taking it upon himself to clean the room.

That sure is a lot of clothes, maybe you all could go through it and see what you can get rid of and then find some other forms of storage like under the bed totes and what not.

I do agree. I won't post pictures of my room but its pretty bad. I get a panic attack every single time I go to clean it. Every single time. My bed is clean, you can see my floor. But it has a bunch of clothes on the other side of my room. I also have gone through 3 hospitalizations and the most recent was 5 and a half months in the state facility. I WANT to clean I...just can't.

Unfortunately my problem is i have an all or nothing issue with cleaning and decluttering. I either have to spend 8+ hours cleaning and throwing away everything or i just do enough surface cleaning to get me through. I cant just clean one room a day like a normal person .... Its like i have no impulse control.

There's some serious smurfwit comments on this post, except this one ^. I would have been mad too, OP. Don't take the smurffy comments to heart. I always have to clean up SO's smurf because he wont even though he doesn't work. It's annoying as hell but I do it because it just wont get done otherwise :/
