I think its kind of cruel that everyone is calling the OP names. 5 years ago I was diagnosed with several depressive and anxiety disorders including hoarding. My house at the time was horrific, now admittedly I didn't have children, but my condition got to such a degree that I had isolated myself from everyone because every time someone said something negative I would attempt suicide. It took two extended hospital stays (under guard), medications, and a specialist cleaning team to even start to get me out of that situation.

Even now when I'm considered stable my house fluctuates daily between me scrubbing every inch for 8 hours straight to it looking like a tornado has gone through it.

I think people should stop being so harsh to the OP and offer some support and encouragement instead.

Did you read ALL of the pages? Because OP is working while her SO stays home 24/7, SHE should be getting mad at HIM.

Yeah she should have cleaned up when she realized he wouldn't( especially for the sake of the child ) BUT it wouldn't get messy in the first place if he wasn't being a couch potato.

Its BOTH their responsibility to keep a clean room but it is more on him to do so since he is home.

No it didn't happen in 24 hours I had everything put in totes stacked up by the closet and SO went crazy on me when I asked for help putting the clothes in the dresser and goin through them to throw some out and he dumped out 2 totes and laundry baskets. My daughter doesn't have to crawl over stuff like in the picture the room is clean for the most part other then clothes in totes
