sorry he treated you like that. maybe you two can clean it together? Regardless, my DDs bed would at least be clean. but if you are working and hes not then he should be helping clean it also. You said that he threw all that crap around but where was it before that.

OP, the way he talked to you was smurffy, and I do agree he needs to help. But, if he isn't going to, you need to clean it and keep it clean for your child. I feel so bad for her standing there in the huge huge piles of stuff. She should be able to live in a clean and uncluttered environment. That's really sad.

If you don't have room for all of that stuff, get rid of some of it or organize better. They sell tubs that are slim and will slide under the beds, put up some shelving, or something to get that stuff off the floor/beds.

Oh, same. We only have LB and ourselves but it would never get even close to being that messy. I refuse to live in filth. When I was 12 or so, my room looked like that but since then, I've been organized and whatnot. Everything has place and it's not on the floor. Smurf, we have a one bedroom and we make do just fine. I just looked around and the only thing that needs to be done in my house is a few toys need to be picked up and the floor needs to be vacuumed which will be done tomorrow because we have a to =get a new vacuum. So excited over a damn vacuum.
