re: when did your baby start crawling?

Quoting coℓton's mama. «3:" I have a question...I figured I'd ask here instead of a new thread since it's kind of relevant. My niece ... [snip!] ... standing up either. Is that something to be concerned about? Could it be because my sister in law carries her around so much?"

I never crawled and didn't walk until I was almost a year old.   Some babies are super chill. I was super chill and my brother was one of those that did EVERYTHING early.

Okay, I'm sure she just isn't interested in crawling. We were talking about this the other day & this topic made me think of it. Thanks.

I'll make sure to tell her to try all that, her doctor hasn't seemed concerned. She came on time, actually a little over her due date if I remember correctly. I'm sure y'all are right & she ends up skipping crawling completely. Thank you guys! I'm sure my brother will be glad to know it's more than likely normal.

My lo still isn't crawling. I think he will be the one to never crawl and go straight to walking.

DD rolled everywhere very well up until about 6 months then the scooting across the floor started, then full on crawling by 6 and a half months.

I only have one baby and this is all I have any experience with, is him. My little man started to army crawl at 4 months then started normal crawling soon after maybe at 5 or so months. Then he was pulling him self up and cruising on furniture at 6 months and then he took his first steps at the end of 8 months and then full on walking at 9 months.

You should see him now at 12 months! He climbs on his toys and jumps off! He can’t have toys that at more than a few inches of the ground when I am not sitting playing with him.

My DD started army crawling at 4 months and was full on crawling by 6 months. She pulled herself up the same day she started crawling. She just turned 9 months on the 19th and just took her first steps today. :c) That grow too darn fast!
