gestational diabeties?

So my Due date is April 27th with my second and last child which is aboy im 18wks and 3 days , Im blessed with a healthy baby girl thats gonna be 1 Dec.8th , i went for my Gestational one hour blood test Last week and they called me back today sayin i failed my test. So i have to go back this week to take the 3 hour test but if i failed the first one wouldnt i fail this one? I followed the rules drank nothin but water the day b4 and didnt eat or drink after midnight..I dont know much about this Anyone with advice? Is it possible to have the problem now but get rid of it b4 the babys born? will it hurt my baby? Will it go away after i have my baby? Advice please im a little freaked out ! Thanks ladies

You can control is threw diet or meds but it wont go away till after the baby is born because it an issue with the way the placent distributes sugar. The one hour, you are only given one hour to process. With the three hour, you have three hours for the sugar to spread out. Some women fail one hour but pass the three hour

Alot of people fail the one hour and pass the 3 hour.

I passed my one hour! So thankfull lol. My sugar has kind of been on the opposite i pass out if it gets to low, and it does often
