she already knows that she is dead- and she is in church all the time so I think she would know somehting was different. She is very observant. If she were younger she might not catch on...

oh gotcha. Will she want to go up to see the body? i mean ds knew she had passed away. but it didnt really affect him he didnt care to see so sitting i the back coloring worked for him and we go to church to but he doesnt get the concept of diffrent days so it was no diffrent to him and he knew it was for his aunt.

I see... No IF she goes I am going to keep her away from the body. I don't want that to get her confused. Ugh I just don't know. I don't want to take her but my husband and his family want her there....

We brought our LO to a wake last year when she was 3. we just kept her in the back. The really nice thing was that she was uplifting for many, many people there. No regrets about bringing her at all as she brought smiles to many sad faces.

My grandmother passed away last month and I decided not to take Jaidis, because I wanted him to remember her reading him books, and telling him stories, not cold and sick. I just don't think it's something he can fully understand.

id find a sitter ur kid wont remember going later any way and then u wont have to worry
