Using the Moby wrap??

I am about to go purchase my first ever Moby wrap.. but I just read that it is unsafe for babies over 18 lbs.. My son already weighs 17 lbs and 10 oz (He's only 2 months..YES he is ginormous.) SO will a Moby not work for us???

They aren't great for bigger kids cuz the fabric stretches. Maybe look into a soft carrier or a mei tai?

Can you nurse handsfree while using either of those??

It's personal preference. When dd hit that weight I wound up getting a soft structured carrier (first a mei tai, then a lillebaby everywear which is similar to an ergo)

Yes they're both hands free

I'm not sure. My kids are formula fed.

Yep, takes a little practice but I've known many moms to successfully nurse that way

Get a woven wrap. It's like a moby but sturdier fabric.

  I comfortably carry my 30 pounder in wovens. Plus, unlike Moby wraps, they're safe for back carries.
