My point too I have no contact with my fathers side of the family anymore due to some cruel words from them. Well my mom has my sons pic as her profile pic and my fathers mom tried to tag herself in it even though they are not friends on there. My mom denied it and we ended up blocking them from seeing our profiles. After stuff they have done they don't deserve to know him

Nope, seems silly to me.

I mean, I have some family drama, but oh well. If people don't want to have me on FB to hear about the kids then they don't need to hear about the kids. I'm not being rude, but I've come to realize that it's just silly. People need to grow up. Drama isn't worth it, and people will always find reasons to start it if they want to.

I have one friend who has one for her daughter and it seems silly. She even writes updates as if they're from the kid. . . . really?

And... anyone who thinks about making a Facebook because it's more permanent or something, I have to LOL.

I have a lot of family blocked from my FB therefore blocked from getting pictures and updates of LB as well. I see no reason to allow them into my child's life when they smurfed up their chance to be in mine. Nope.

I think if the kid is old enough to use it herself, and it's ok with the parents, that's one thing. But I think making them for your infant is obnoxious. Especially like someone else said about making statuses for the babies like "Going to Daddy's but don't want to" just to make jabs at your ex... some people are crazy...

I don't think it's wrong or creepy. It's unnecessary, but I don't think there's anything 'wrong' with it as long as you aren't letting your two year old use the facebook. I have a facebook for my cat. It started off as a joke, and now I use it for games because I don't have a facebook.
