Well if you are only 6 weeks along then there is a chance you are miscarrying. But there is really nothing that doctors will be able to do other than to give you meds for the pain. Possible D&C.

Like a bowel movement? You can try because if you are miscarrying sadly there is no way to stop it.

most of the time at 6 weeks a D&C is not needed and OTC pain meds is recommended.

Which is why I said "possible D&C." When I miscarried at 9 weeks, I got pain meds. My miscarriage literally felt like labor. Just giving her the options and what could happen.

D&C is Dilation and curettage (D&C) is a brief surgical procedure in which the cervix is dilated and a special instrument is used to scrape the uterine lining. (This will most likely not happen unless you have problems passing the fetus.)
OTC is over the counter. Meaning you may not get persciption pain pill.

D&C-A surgical procedure to remove any contents that is not expelled with a miscarriage
OTC- over the counter meds this is things like Tylenol and Motrin.

I also miscarried at 9-10 wks and didn't have to have a D&C either. I felt labor like pain and a lot of bleeding. Heavier than a regular period.

Are you still bleeding? Is it bright red if your are? I know everyone's experience is different but I miscarried at 6 wks a few years back and I never had the same symptoms that you are. I just started having some light light brown bleeding one day and it slowly progressed into red bleeding the next day and within about 30 minutes I was bleeding like crazy. It was just like a super heavy period with a lot of clots and I bled for about right under two weeks. The day I started bleeding heavy I went and had a vaginal sonogram and they told me that they couldn't see anything just the lining of my uterus sloughing away. I never felt the need to push and never had enough pain that felt worse than really bad period cramps.
