I don't care if they teach my kid about sex as long as they are giving real facts and not "Christian-facts". My high school was abstinence only and a lot of the STD and pregnancy information we were given was completely false. Like we were told HPV never goes away and ALWAYS causes warts (both false statements) and we were told that you can get pregnant at any time in your cycle, another false statement.

I was agnostic until about a year ago. Now I'm an atheist. It was actually something that Penn Jillette said on Piers Morgan that made it all click, and I can't really remember what he said but like instantly from that moment on I was atheist lol.

I think I lean more towards indifference now. I'm not exactly sure how to word it.
I don't believe in organized religion, and I think that if there is a God, he/she/it wouldn't approve of it either. My life as a Christian was nothing but guilt and shame. I thought I was this horrible evil person who deserved death and hell because I enjoyed sex, or because I hated going to church every Sunday. Even now, when I hear my mother talking about God and how she deserves death at his hands for her sinful ways, I just think of a terribly abusive relationship  

There could be a God. There could not be a God. Idk. Until I get definite proof one way or the other (which I probably never will) I just don't care, lol. I'm here. I'm alive. I trust my basic human instincts and morals just fine.

Briant grew up in a VERY Christian home. Like he went to private school his whole life and he wasn't allowed to celebrate Halloween. He is now an atheist and has been for about 4 years and still hasn't told his parents lmao.

I think parents who are fundies probably produce a lot of atheists when compared to non-fundie Christians.
