i think my kid is part camel lol!

So all my kid does is want to be constantly drinking stuff all day, idk anyone that is this thirsty, thought maybe okay maybe she is hungry & thinks she is thirsty, give her snacks & more food. but stilllll continues to drink drink drink!!! she always has to have a sippy cup in her hand. idk what to do anymore. tried just tellin her no but she throws a fit she is thirsty. but still deny then she will get it herself.

anyone have this problem, what did you do?

It can be, but it can also be normal for some kids. Both my kids drink like fish. For a while my daughter actually preferred drinks over food.

OP if you're worried about diabetes other signs to look for besides thirst is sweet smelling urine, rapid, unexplained weight loss despite increase in appetite, fatigue or change in behavior.

!!!! Even sometimes sweet smelling breath! And oh boy can my boyfriend eat and eat and eat and he is sickly thin!

oh wow i didnt know that, no her weight is fine 50 percentile along with height at 51 percentile which she has been since birth. no sweet breath just smells normal & urine just smells like urine
dont ever here about a 3 yr old with diabeties so i never thought def brink this lots of drinkin up at her next dr apt.
nobody in family ever had that, or no one in dads family. hmmm def got be freaked out now..

hope its not that & she outgrows it
