pumping before would increase supply and cause issuses with mastitis. That would be that last bit of advice I would give a patient with over supply and forceful let down. The more you stimulate the more you produce - if you produce more then baby needs and the excess isn't removed it will cause mastitis. If you were my patient I would advise that you quit pumping, nurse in a reclined position, nurse until the beginning of the first letdown and then remove baby and collect what comes out in a cup and then relatch baby. In a few days your supply will balance out and after a few weeks the forcful let down will likely improve and the baby will handle it better. It sounds like you need to se a lactation consultant, or a different one if you already are.

Get some fresh sage and make tea of it. 2 cups a day and in a week or so your supply should slowly come down.
If your breast feels warm and swollen, try this:
Get a white cabbage, put in the fridge untill it's nice and cold. Get the leaves off as intact as you can, place on a flat surface. With a rolling pin roll over the leaves to bruise them slightly and get the juice flowing. Then stick on boob, leave the nipple free. When the leaves are warm, take them out, get fresh cold leaves. Wash, rinse, repeat  :
This should help with preventing mastitis when you feel it coming on... you can also put col curd on your boob, but it makes a mess lol.
