So I'm supposed to get my hair done

Dec. 8th.
I was going to bleach it/dye it platinum blonde.

But I just got my bfp. Do i need to cancel getting my hair done?

I wasn't planning on telling my mum yet and I don't know what I would tell her as to why I'm not getting it done anymore.

I've also heard to avoid it in the 1st trimester... plus how are you going to handle the upkeep during your pregnancy if you're going to keep it up.. maybe go for a less harsh process? like not bleaching but just coloring and telling your mom you decided to go for a different color?

I wasn't planning on up keeping it actually lol.

Maybe I'll just do that instead, but right now my hair is a reddish in some spots blonde and idk how another color would go over it evenly.

I miss my black hair.

my hair is pretty similar to yours then... maybe get an all over color to try and even everything out and then some highlights or lowlights so it's not crazy obvious you're trying to hide other color... go back as close to natural as you can so it's easier for upkeep (especially once baby comes it'll feel impossible... I can't tell you how badly I want to get to a salon and do something to my hair... but I don't really wanna take my 1 month old with me... and DH has work and is finishing his bachelors so he doesn't have much time off and what time he does have he spends doing hw or sleeping or playing with DS so I would feel too bad taking off an hour or 2 to get my hair done... plus I'm on maternity leave and bringing in less $ then before so I'd feel bad about that too..)
