I've known my new boyfriend since I was 11 but we just started dating in October and just became an official couple over the weekend and I've been wondering how long should I wait to introduce LO to him?
He has been around LO a couple times when he happened to be at his moms and I brought LO over (his sister is my best friend and she lives with her mom so...) but obviously has never been around LO as my significant other.

DD has known him since she was born and I just started dating him about 8 weeks ago. I was working for him while I was pregnant and he has been like family since then.

How olds lo? My kids r old enough to determine if they like someone or not if it was me id let them be involved in it to a point... they have to live wit the new SO also

A year.... LO didn't know his dad at all at the time so it wasn't like a huge adjustment... But we still waited a year of being together before they met.

my kids had met my ex several times before we ever started dating because he was my friend and we used to work out together. After we started dating he didn't spend any time with my kids until about 6mos in.

we went on a couple dates and I had him over for dinner, I introduced him as mommy's friend, he came over on the week ends for a while, then we kinda had a few issues and he stopped coming over for a few weeks and the kids asked why so I told him they missed him...long story short we're married and now have three more kids lol

This isn't me... but what my mom did with my sister and I with our step-dad. My mom waited until she knew it was serious (so 6 or 8 months.. she and I can't quite remember exactly since it was 17 years ago) but they were engaged about 6 months after we were introduced to him and I think they knew it was already kinda heading that way... and we never met any of the other guys she dated... and as far as I knew (until just now when I asked her) there never were any others... apparently there was a guy she dated for 3 months in there... lol who knew lol
