Quoting Mel & a girl named Pey:" My dad almost broke my wrist once. We just moved into a house and there were mice in the attic...well ... [snip!] ... squeezing thinking it was the neck! lol I was like "Daddy, daddy, daddy!!!" lol I don't remember but my mom has told me. lol"
Oh no!

Quoting Lacie Heethuis-Roy:" i understand both sides but u ahve been getting ur way for a while and u havent even tried haveing baby ... [snip!] ... month or 2 and u can transition baby to his crib during that time and for naps it may work better than telling him flat out no"

I would give it a chance if he wasn't so mean about it. He sleeps soundly when the baby wakes up. I've asked him a few dozen times if he ever hears the baby at night and he says no... He even goes as far as "Oh he slept good last night" and Im like no Honey you just didnt hear him. Little one is 3 months, and i would feel comfortable with him sleeping with us until he is at least 6 months.

Quoting Gibson's Mommy:" He is 3 months. He says DS is old enough to sleep in his room. I looked at him and told him, "Look, ... [snip!] ... imagine how grumpy i would be if i had to get in and out of bed to go to his room... when I could just roll over and get him."
in all reality your right, but maybe just to humor him try putting LO in his crib to begin the night then after the first feeding bring him back in your room until you feel more comfortable...?

Quoting Mel & a girl named Pey:" I didn't co-sleep because I was trying to co-sleep in elementary school. lol I remember in about kindergarten sneaking my parents room and sleeping at the foot of the bed."

I remember sleeping on the floor next to my moms side of the bed when i had really bad dreams and I couldn't go back to sleep. A few times I tripped her out because i'd shuffle on the floor to get comfy and she would stare at me like she was trying to let her eye adjust to what she was actually looking at. When my brother was born and i had nightmares, I'd sleep under his crib, which was in her room.

I don't know if I was having nightmares but when I did they were about 1000's of bugs or frogs something like that, and they would put my bottom half in a pillow case and I would be fine after that! lol

Quoting bia.:" How old is baby? I co-slept for 4yrs, and even when we did stop, her bed was still in our bedroom, for ... [snip!] ... know how you feel about not wanting baby to sleep in his/her own bedroom.   He should be supportive though, that's for sure."

He just turned 3 months.
I love having him next to me at night. Sometimes when I have trouble sleeping I'll just lay there and watch him sleep

I could try this. It's just going to be a super big change for me lol I'm to attached to him to let him sleep in his own room just yet.

I plan on breastfeeding him for a couple years, but i think when he starts solids he would sleep longer? Im hoping he will start sleeping through the night.

I had night terrors. Especially when I would get sick. They were always about Big pillars crashing down and i had to run, or a super big needle that was chasing me. I had some crazy dreams when i was little. I still have the Pillar dreams when I'm sick though.

My son is 2 1/2 and still sleeps in our room. He's in a toddler bed and across from our bed, now, but he used to sleep with us in our bed. He didn't start sleeping on his own until he was 18 months old. DH has never had an issue and it's never caused any problems for us. DH never woke up when DS was an infant, either. I can't see why your husband would have any issue with it, especially if it doesn't wake him up.
