Mini Crib?

Good idea or bad? I found one I kind of like... and I wanted the small one for the fact i'm going to get him a race car bed for when he's a toddler so I won't need it to inter change, and the nursery isn't that big of a room.

We almost got a mini crib for DS because our old apartment was really small and we felt we would've needed to.. but we went for a full sized crib after our move cuz we had more space in his room, plus I'd rather keep him contained in his crib as long as possible... and there isn't much space in mini cribs.. I feel like he'd have been out of the mini crib by 18 months or 2 for sure but now with the full sized crib we have more options and we aren't forced to move him before we'd like to just because of lack of space... plus it was really hard to find cute bedding for a mini crib

That is a good point. They just look so pretty too.. but I don't want to waste money.

yea we went back and forth for a while but not finding bedding we liked and moving to the bigger apartment made us go for full sized... especially since my mom and I were going to have to sew all the bedding since we didn't like any bedding options.. even DH was too picky to like any of the boy ones... of course he liked the girl options since we had a boy... lol

I noticed they are also harder to find crib sets for them.

There are 2 at Walmart, a few at Target and then Amazon or Etsy are pretty much the only other options (and the best 2 imo)

if you're thinking a mini crib will save you money tho.. it really won't we priced it out and every time it seemed more expensive cuz bedding is too hard to find...
