If you have had an ovary removal...

How were your period cycles afterwards? I had one ovary removed in August, and have had a normal period each month since. I have never missed a period in my life (other than when I was pregnant) I am now 8 days late, and do not feel any premenstrual symptoms either. I took a blue dye pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. (I had sex once last month, and we used a condom) Is this normal? Should I call my doctor?
