It is recommended to wait 6 weeks because the risk of infection. But, i will say i did not.. i had sex at 14 days PP. It didn't hurt extremely bad...

I'd wait. I had sex at 5 months pp and it wasn't the best sex ever. It really hurt in some positions. They say to wait 4-6 weeks because of the risk of infection

I was 4 weeks pp and we could not wait any longer lol. It didn't hurt to bad, just go slow.

I had sex at like 2 weeks pp, so kudos to you for going as long as you have lol. It didn't hurt at all and I actually orgasmed after like 3 minutes because it had been "so long". DH was like "well, talk about a quickie..."

SO thinks he's going to get some 2-3 weeks after I have baby, just like he thought when I had our first, nuh uh lol.

Ohh right, infection.. I completely forgot about that part, I just thought about the obvious surface pain lol. I had one small tear that required two stitches and two small grazes that healed together and had to be re-separated a few weeks ago but those are pretty much healed up now and I stopped bleeding like a week ago. Still have a bit of discharge but nothing major, just like a light yellowy type discharge rather than blood. Which doesn't bother either of us coz we'd have to use a condom anyway, for the first time ever lol, because no way do I want number two on the way so soon  
I'm feeling up to it but I'm just scared it'll hurt!! 2-3 weeks after a c-section, now that's dedication!!

I didnt wait past 4 weeks. When the bleeding stopped & i felt fine other than being horny lol i decided it was time. I suggest if nervous maybe try you on top with him kinda sitting so you can control the depth speed everything just to avoid any big ouch moments since he cant know if it will hurt you. With him sitting you can support yourself better using his shoulders. This was the most comfortable way for me after my first for a few weeks. With the second & third i only did this like twice. Once you're comfortable & you know it wont hurt as much as you thought you can return to whatever position you liked before but always take it slow so you wont learn the hard way if one position is still kinda painful or not.
