mine do pee and blood, so pee they confirmed basically immediately and then blood if they didnt have it right away they'd call. I guess every doc is different though. Plus my first appt they did an ultrasound with both now, i figured that was the norm.

Just wanted to say good luck and take some deep breaths. I didn't get a positive with my son until seven weeks and he certainly wasn't a chemical pregnancy. The only time I've ever gotten a dark positive was the time I miscarried.

I did an u/s too with my chemical pregnancy and there was nothing...blood work showed lower side of positive, then they dropped and still an empty womb. WIth my daughter they were in a different location so no blood work was done there so I had to wait! It sucked!

were they not able to see on the u/s that it was chemical? Ive never had the experience, not that Id want it I feel for you!

Basically you see nothing because with a chemical pregnancy the egg implants and dies but still gives off hcg making your test positive but of course a light test does not mean chemical pregnancy!

yea, as Cora is giving me internal bruising from all her kicks, she is reminding me just how unchemical she is lol. like I said Ive never had anything but faint too

I have had faint and dark ones with different pregnancies. This one was faint the first time but I was SUPER early. I told my friend this is like turbo baby because seriously I was only 6dpo....how the eff does that even happen!

lol thats awesome, my son I knew 2 weeks before I could even test cause I had the WORST heartburn and the sorest boobs, and I had never had those symptoms. The funniest part, it was the first time we had tried and I wasnt supposed to be able to get pregnant.. someone got that wrong! lol this one with my daughter I didnt know until it was a late period, I tested the next day just to ease my mind and bam, there she was...

you can have false negatives but not false positives. yes there are checmical pregnancies, but a pregnancy test isnt going to be any indication of that, the doctor will check your levels and give you an US to determine those things. tell her to shut her mouth cause she is ignorant to the facts and shouldnt be commenting.

With my daughter I went in to get thyroid results and medicine or b/c...took a test before I went into the room and as I was walking out with b/c she told me I was pregnant. lol I made her show me. lol
